The TruBioHealth Difference

iStock 185241117TruBioHealth’s telomere length assessment test will use a process called FISH Flow to analyze telomere length in white blood cells.

Unlike the more commonly-used PCR (polymerase chain reaction) -- which pools chromosomal DNA from a sample and measures the average telomere length – FISH Flow examines the telomere length of all telomeres in every one of the white blood cells in a sample.

We are using this analysis to compare telomere length in different cell types, and identify the number of cells with shorter telomere lengths. TruBioHealth uses this approach to provide meaningful data that can be regularly tracked for effective patient health monitoring, potentially alerting you to underlying health conditions prior to clinical presentation.
